Netflix Increases Subscription Plans rate in US & Canada

The Popular Video Streaming platform had recently decreased the price rates in India due to its overall competition by Amazon and Disney+Hotstar. And, now due to these price cuts the company had raised the subscription rate in the US and Canada.

The Prices of these subscription plans had been increased up to 2 USD. 

In the US, the basic plan is now priced at $9.99, the Standard plan is now priced at $15.49 and the Premium plan is now priced at $17.99. In Canada, the Basic plan is priced at C$9.99, the standard plan is priced at C$16.49, and C$20.99 for the Premium plan. Thus, all these above plans are on the monthly basis and it is currently applicable for both existing and new users. 

The Company had mentioned that this Price raise is because of its production costs. As the company gives its Quality videos, TV series, movies, etc. And, thus, this is the main reason to price raise in the U.S and Canada. 

Whereas in India the price of the subscription plans had been decreased. The Basic plan is for INR 199, Standard at INR 499, and Premium plan at INR 649. Thus, if you are interested in watching some interesting movies and series, it is the right time to start a Netflix subscription now.

It has now crossed 10 billion views in 2022 and now officially be the first video on youtube to cross 10 billion views.  The video was released on June 18, 2016and it crossed 10 billion views this week.  Now, Despacito had been the second most viewed video in youtube. In 2020, the video crossed 7 billion views and within 1 year it had been crossed 10 billion views.
