But, here I show a website where you can find the amount of carbon dioxide that is been emitted by you in the environment. It is a UK based website called as “ Complete the Market” where it calculates the amount of carbon emission by a person in a single day and annually.

When you enter the website, it will show the top three social media platforms that had emitted more carbon in 2021. The top three platforms are Tik Tok, Reddit and Pinterest. And, below these information you will see your favorite social media platforms where you have to enter the amount of Time (in Minutes) spend in each of the platform in a single day. And, then click calculate. You will find the amount of Carbon emission (in grams) emitted by usage of these platforms in a single day and annually. 

The Website uses the Greenspector data to calculate the amount of carbon emission. Greenspector is a group of scientist that used Galaxy S7 series to know the amount of carbon emission by these phones in the environment. So, the above website will multiply the time entered with the value in the website to give you the amount of carbon emission and for annual, it will multiply the entered value with 365.
