Alexa Challenged a 10-Year to do Penny Challenge

Amazon’s Alexa is one of the famous assistant which many people use in there day-to-day life. But, in this a young child had been given an dangerous Tik Tok challenge as a “A Challenge to do” by Alexa. 

Whenever a question is been asked to Alexa, it will use the Microsoft Bing to search for the accurate results and read it to the users. This incident was reported in Twitter, A lady named as Kristine Livdahl reported to Amazon claiming that it had given an life threatening challenge to my 10 year girl suggesting that it is a simple challenge. 

the Challenge suggested by Alexa was a “Penny Challenge”. The challenge was once a viral one on Tik Tok, where we need to connect the charger to the plug board half and then place a penny at the end of the charger cable (female). It an normal challenge but giving this one to an 10 year kid is not a good option. 

The woman also included the web search of Alexa on Microsoft Bing and an audio of her kid interacting with the assistant for a statement of proof.

Followed by this report on twitter, Amazon replied that it was found to be an internal Alexa bug and it has been sorted and now there is no need to worry about this question in future.
